The Castillo Beach Complex, belonging to the Extuca Hotel Chain, was opened in 1988 and is, today, one of the most emblematic complexes in the tourist areas of Fuerteventura.
The apartments, designed by the artist Sergio Calvo, follow a typical Canary style with all the comfort of modern fittings and fixtures; they have 1 or 2 bedrooms with a full bathroom suite, kitchen, living room and private terrace.
The Castillo Beach Complex is located set in the high area of the tourist and residential part of Costa Caleta (Caleta de Fuste), providing the tranquillity of a residential area alongside the surrounding tourist attractions to the visitor.
The location of the complex is enviable, being only 5 km from the international airport of Fuerteventura, your final destination is less than 5 minutes away; down towards the South of the complex, barely 1.5 km, is the Playa del Castillo, the marina and a fantastic Thalassotherapy centre. Less than 1 km to the West is the Fuerteventura Golf Club boasting 18 holes. The North borders with a residential area and to the East protection from the wind is provided by a line of pine trees. The visitor may access all these attractions on foot, if so desired, the hotel management recommending car hire (service in reception) to enjoy and discover the whole island and its beauty.
From the tourist area of Costa Caleta one can easily access the rest of the island and visit must-see unforgettable landscapes such as the Corralejo Dunes Natural Park 48 km away, the spectacular Isla de Lobos (Wolf Island) in Corralejo, the miles of beaches in Jandía 85 km away, the sunsets in Cotillo 86 km away, and virgin beaches at Cofete 100 km away.
Castillo Beach and Hoteles Extuca have various complexes affiliated to the holiday exchange company Interval International, thus making Castillo Beach Club, one of the premier and biggest European Clubs with a Weekly system with the right to enjoy successive possession.
