Fuerteventura is the Tranquil Island with the Best Atlantic Beaches.

A privileged climate bathing the island in sunshine practically all year, its proximity to the Sahara and the island's geography provide an ideal temperature, allowing the visitor to enjoy both moments in the sun and leisure pursuits.

Visitors from around the world repeatedly travel to Fuerteventura for their holidays, not only are the beaches classified as amongst the best in Europe but also of the whole Atlantic too. The Majorero cheese has won various international awards and is considered one of the world's finest; Fuerteventura also exports exquisite quality tomatoes to the whole of Europe which are of course evident in its varied gastronomy - papas arrugadas con mojo (potatoes in sauce) is one of the most well known dishes requested by tourists; fishing villages still offer today the possibility of tasting a good grilled fish and the tasty Majorera goat considered a delicacy alongside a good Iberian ham.

After experiencing great gastronomy we can enjoy one of the best attractions of the island - without doubt the famous beaches.

Fuerteventura is a paradise that you need to know how to discover and enjoy, the islanders having a famous saying: 'in tears you will arrive to Fuerteventura and you will leave crying'
